Me and my babe we aint got much dough, we like to listen to radio
Sometimes we get to picture shows, but that’s about as far as we go

Vacations are a real big deal, they take a year of skipping meals
But we don’t like to plan the details, we just play it as we feel

This year were going to Graceland
We’re going to stand on the King’s land
We’re driving halfway across this great big land
Just to visit Graceland, yea Graceland

Eating junk food and playing games, hunting around for old Pete’s grave
It sure was fun to lose our way, but it added a couple of days

We arrived at Graceland on a cold gray day
Without enough cash for the going rate
We laughed, crossed the street, and we stood at the gates
Carved our initials into the stones and we headed home

This year we’re going to Graceland…
